Spanish benchmark legal digital newspaper, Lawyerpress, has interviewed Ontier's Managing Director Carmen Bascarán Fanego in the week of International Women's Day.
At the end of 2020 Carmen Bascarán returned to Spain, after having taking on the international management of Ontier for 6 years from the firm’s office in London (UK) to become in charge of the general management of the firm and thus move forward in her dedication to the management of the firm.
Looking into becoming the world legal reference in Latin America in the coming years, Carmen Bascarán shows in the interview an explicit commitment to equal opportunities in the firm with the intention of overcoming traditional management models and become a different firm in which the client feels the support of someone who understands their business beyond national or industry-based labels.
One of her commitments as the firm’s Managing Director is to ensure that all those who join Ontier, men and women, are provided with tools that allow them to reach their full potential both in legal practice and in the area of management in the firm, as well as to overcome classic and departmentalised models, so that comprehensive management and attention to client and global management are always Ontier's distinguishing mark.
